The process by which a coach or mentor, with the help of a supervisor, who is not working directly with the client, can attend to and understand better both the client system and themselves as part of the client-coach/mentor system, and transform their work.

Hawkins and Smith (2006)

At Developing Success we carry out coaching supervision on a one-to-one basis, or in a small group, to develop and hone the skills of coaches. It is a place for support, challenge, restoration, and personal and professional development.

Typical issues that coaches bring to supervision are:

Developing as a coach or mentor

Working on presence and impact in the coaching space

Understanding more about your current assignments

Understanding more about client systems and how to work with them

Developing professional practice

Aligning with best ethics and practices

Many of our coach training programmes have coaching supervision as an integral part of the timetable. Supervision can be carried out both in person and via Zoom. If you want to know more about setting up a coaching supervision session with Rebecca or Sue, then please get in touch below.

What our clients say

“I love working with Rebecca as my supervisor. She’s insightful, straightforward, and massively supportive. I love her down to earth approach and the way that she cuts through surface issues to get to the real nub of things underneath.”

Coach, Counsellor & Psychotherapist

“Sue is outstanding, she brings the full benefit of her experience to conversations and does so in such an authentic and generous way.  Her ability to ask us powerful questions helped us look in on the work we were doing and our intentions through a different filter. She enabled us to stand back and separate out our own concerns from the needs of the team.”
