Rebecca, Sue and Jonathan were all facilitators on the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) Place Based Leaders Programme.
The success of the programme came from bringing together and supporting leaders from a variety of public services, and voluntary bodies, across the 10 areas of Greater Manchester and enabling them to learn from each other, as they grappled with a place-based challenge. The programme used strength-based approaches to community development as a vehicle for personal learning and growth.
